Qualified in 1983 and has been with the practice since 1987. Dr Wenley is responsible for and oversees all the training of the GP Registrars. She has a special interest in family planning.

Dr Joanne Roberts (female)   MB BS                              
Qualified in 1987 and has been with the practice since 1992. She  offers a full range of general practice care.

Dr Chris Mays (male) MBBS MRCGP DFFP           
Qualified in 1989 and has been with the practice since 1993.
He has a special interest in rheumatology and sports
medicine.

Dr Jurgen Lauble (male)  DA(UK) MRCGP
Qualified in 1993 and has been with the practice since 2000. Dr
Lauble has a special interest in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) conditions and also provides some of the cryotherapy clinics.

Dr Handy Amirthan (male)   MBBS MRGP
Qualified in 2008 and has been with the practice since 2016.

Qualified in 2004 and has been with the practice since the start of 2013. She has a special interest in child health, women’s health and family planning.

District Nurses

There is an excellent team of community nursing staff comprising of a Community Matron, Community Nurses and Community Nursing Assistants.

They provide nursing services for our housebound patients including;

  • Wound dressing and management
  • Acute/chronic illness management
  • Continence care/assessment
  • Palliative care for patients with cancer
  • Catheter management problems.

Referrals to the district nurses can be made by the patients Doctor, Social Services and Hospitals when they are discharging the patient home.
